Christian Heaven and Hell
Been having a slight moral crisis lately. If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, can the road to heaven be paved with bad intentions as long as the deeds involved are good? what if both are ambiguous or inconsistent?? what if you try to convince yourself that your intentions are one way but actually they're another though really you may not be sure at all? what if i want to be good but am being self-serving at the same time? what if im just tougher? life is confusing. sigh.

Life is damn confusing. I think that the quote "The Road to hell is paved with good intentions" has to do with the danger of acting on the desire to do good without paying attention to the way that your actions play out on the ground.

Yes it can. As an example I offer the crusade among the Christain fundamentalists in the US to take away the right of a woman to choose if she wants to have a baby or not. Well meaning folks eh? Except they are trying to force their opinions on others assuming they are doing gods work in the process.
Hello Aranyi,
I just chanced upon your blog today. Hey, you look gorgeous in that photograph. I guess I have fallen in love with you.
Will you marry me??
I don't mean to confuse you further, but last time I checked, the road was not paved at all. You may have to bulldoze your way through on your own...
hey aranyi!!!
my first visit to your blog!! well you have made me think but, sincerely what i feel is that...heaven and hell are just created to manipulate our thought process...our actions are guided by greed, fear, lust, love etc..and everytime we do something..we associate the action with either heaven or hell.....the path of good/bad intentions is just a consequence of this thought....
Hmm..well who knows whether there is heaven or hell in the first place. Its all in the mind.
depends on how u define intentions as good or bad
what is good for me might be bad for u
the same holds for deeds......we cant really define good or bad can we :o)
